Built for the neutral.

Diary, sessions, and caucus with recorded consent. Mediation software that knows you act for nobody.

Scope

What we are building.

Everything below lands in the first release. None of it ships before winter.

Diary and sessions

Schedule across mediators and offices, let parties book themselves in, and move an appointment without a phone call. Out-of-hours sessions carry a flag so they bill at the right rate.

Online and in person

Run joint and separate sessions through the video provider you already use, with attendance logged against the case. Kestrel never records a session.

Caucus with recorded consent

When a party tells you something in confidence, Kestrel records your request to share it and their answer, so shuttle work does not rest on your memory of who agreed to what.

Agreement to Mediate

Every participant signs your own wording in the portal before the first session. Kestrel seals the version they agreed to, so nobody argues about it afterwards.

Privilege-aware by default

The memorandum of understanding and the open financial statement are the only documents built to leave a case. Caucus content stays where it was said.

Per-party billing

Bill each party for the sessions they attend, at standard or out-of-hours rates, and split the fee the way your practice already splits it.

Sequencing

Who it is for, and when.

Civil, commercial and workplace mediation come first. Family, MIAM and Legal Aid work follows in 2027, because that ground is regulated and we would rather take the time over it.

First release

Civil and commercial

CMC-registered practices running small claims through to commercial disputes.

First release

Workplace and community

Multi-party matters, which most mediation software still cannot model.

2027

Family, MIAM and Legal Aid

Safeguarding screening, MIAM records and court forms, built to the standard the Family Mediation Council expects.

We would rather hear from you now.

A handful of mediation practices are shaping this with us. If something above sounds like your week, talk to us while the first release can still change.
